Turning from Les Miserables

This started as a simple character development exercise during the Quaran-Stream Les Mis callbacks, and then I just ran with the concept. Now that that project has wrapped (and will air on June 6 at 5pm - link below), I finally had time to edit this!

In the show, this song is sung after a battle during the French Revolution. My intent with these modern-day ladies was to 1) acknowledge that everyone processes grief differently, and 2) explore how although specific circumstances have changed and progressed throughout history, the hearts of humankind have stayed constant. May we always remember and honor those who fought and lost their lives in battle. 💜
