WHAT IS THE DEVICE COMPATIBILITY OF THE DIFFERENT LUNA HARDWARE UNITS?
Luna USB-C: Compatible with Mac and Windows* (Windows support coming May 2021). Requires that the Windows USB-C port has external display functionality (either Thunderbolt or Display Mode Alt Mode support).
Luna HDMI: Only compatible with Windows.
If your Windows computer has both USB-C and HDMI ports with external display functionality, you may purchase whichever one best fits in your workflow.

CURRENT LUNA USB-C USERS: WHY ISN'T WINDOWS SUPPORT AVAILABLE FOR ME NOW?
Windows support will be added to your USB-C unit through a software app update. Our Engineering Team is still finalizing the Windows software for Luna USB-C. This app update is planned for release in May 2021.

Hello! I'm looking at the new M1 iMac to double as a new IOS development workstation, as well as a way to replace an older monitor I still have kicking around for a workstation PC. Is there any way to use your product with a Windows PC in a similar way to Apple's now defunct Target Display feature that was killed even for older macs that used to support it as of the Big Sur update?

Also what is the difference between your dongle and a regular dummy plug/headless ghost? I was unable to find any meaningful information about that. Is your product just a dummy plug that contains firmware to let it work with your software, or is there a fundamental hardware difference that would prevent a regular dummy plug from working with your software?
