Click bait title definitely not making 250hp, but I’m not mad or hating, owner seems mad cool.
I used to have virtually the same hatch a 1990 civic si black with a b16, totalled it in the snow, and bought a 88 standard and swapped everything over into it. Race it for a few years doing autox, pretty competitive only weighing 1800 lbs with 160 whp lol. I’m probably going to k-swap it now though. These old school grocery getters still have so much potential.

I think this may be my old civic! I bought it new in 1991 when I was in high school in So Cal. I saved up and put Chrome Fittipaldi Twists on its and drove it until I traded it in for my SSBP GSR integra. If it is, I'm stoked to see it still going!

When I lived in Cali my first car was an 89 ef hatch in that baby blue Color. It was Honda civic std which stands for standard. It was out of Long Beach and laid $600 for it. It had busted ignition lock and I used a flathead screwdriver to start it for a while. I subbed because of this video and good memories of my many more Hondas I had! Good stuff, thanks
