Great tips, never thought about adding glycerin to beers, have been it using for a couple of years to add mouthfeel to some of my wines that needed a bit of a boost, but will try it in my next low abv stout.

😅What an amazing coincidence! I was just planning a low ABV stout as my next beer for the fall… Great stuff!

How much would you add if you wanted to use glycerine and lactose to the 5 gallon batch

Hi I only ended up with OG of 1.022. Maybe too much total water and bad grain crush. Used Windsor ale yeast after two days not sign of fermentation. Is this going to be worth carbonating

What would happen to the abv if you mashed the dark grains separately at 160F / 71C ? (Trying to diminish the toasted character a little bit.)Thanks for the info about glycerin. Without using (and avoiding) a pH meter, I add 4 oz / 115 grams of acidulated malt to low alcohol brews. Any thoughts?

The recipe from the video doesn't match the recipe from the "more" section.

Great video. Only pH of 4.5 or less won't protect you completely from pathogens. These beers should never be aged at the Homebrew level. Not only can the beer get contaminated but so can all the draft lines and faucets.
Keep making great videos 🍺

You just always go with 6 grams of sugar per liter, no matter the beer style so you're around 2.35 co2 volume in all your beers ??
