Stands were half empty for most of the first set. Even at the end it was probably 70% of capacity. This is the number 1 & 2 players in the world and tennis is really popular in Spain. Saudi Arabia is hosting the finals for the next 3 years? Stands are going to be empty. And a prominent Saudi women's rights activist was just sentenced to 11 years in prison for advocating for women's rights and not wearing the appropriate head covering in public. Just wait until some players get arrested for not wearing the proper attire or for being a lesbian. The WTA needs to get its act together.
