The Pizza Show: Philadelphia

We're headed to Pennsylvania, where we'll learn that Philly is about more than the cheesesteak. Frank Pinello meets with a fourth-generation pizzaiolo and a new-school dough wizard who show us that there's not one style defining Philly pizza, and that's a good thing. Between ingredient shopping at the South 9th Street Italian Market and trying the Philly Taco on South Street, Frank gets the full tour of the Philadelphia pizza scene before heading out to Roots Country Market in Lancaster to meet with seventy-year-old Norma Knepp who can make pizza with (or better than) the best of them. There's so much delicious pizza packed into the state, we're petitioning to have it renamed Pizzalyvania.

My brother's douchbag cat is really loud when no one is home, but one day, we found out that Frank's voice soothed him. Now before we leave for work in the morning, we set his furry ass up with the Pizza Show playlist so he doesn't bother the neighbors with his bitching. Thank you, Frank. Thank you for bringing peace to my home, pizza really does sooth the restless beast.

Love this series. Raw and uncensored, the best.

Love frank he’s such a kind soul anyone could get along with him, even that weirdo who only sells 40 pizzas a day.

"I can kinda get why people may want to try eating this."

The most polite way of saying "this sucks."

Thank you for highlighting Norma. What a sweet lady without any of the snobby pizza pretentions. The chemistry between the two of you was delightful. I love it when non celebrity chefs win awards.

Jeff Barg is a hack.  No one in Philadelphia does the Philly Taco.  Jeff just wants to be on Vice.  Sad.

The interaction between Frank and Norma was so heart warming to watch. The world would be a much better place if people treated each other that way. Yeah I know, Frank is that way to everyone. Good dude.

This is the best, most wholesome food show on the internet. Frank is great and always brings the best out of the people around him.
