A3 cold pressed 350gsm watercolour paper (seawhite of Brighton)
1/2 inch SAA flat edged brush
24 half pan set watercolour (Daniel Smith)

Reference Image - I took this photo at Oxford Island Nature Reserve on the shores of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland

You're getting there now Colin (not sure I am - I can't seem to replicate that very dark green and your flicks with the brush for the foreground grass look a lot more convincing then mine) but I'll push on to the final stage and see what comes of it 🤞

I think slowing down is something I must work on. I'm speedy and like instant gratification!
Watching your layering and the painting coming to life was mesmerizing. Beautifully done.
