Years ago it was Nita Engle and her amazing work I saw in one of the books she published that convinced me to give watercolor a go. You are as equally talented and this video is proof

This painting is stunning Karen. I am so inspired by this new addition as well as your other blue bell forest scape tutorials. I always learn so much. Thank you for being such a great teacher.

My goodness! How gorgeous the salt effect was for this painting. The salt in itself looks just like leaves, if leaves were white, you could've just left it alone! How crazy and cool this was!! So awesome, thank you again Karen!

Geezz Karen, I was pretty impressed at 14.48 and had it been mine happy to finish, but then booyah! You took it to another level and beyond. Fabulous. All hail.

This is absolutely gorgeous and magical. I just was 2 weeks ago in a forest and those bluebells spread like a carpet between the trees. TFS

Its fantastic how you give listeners color alternatives. It gives you much better guidance on what colors to use, even without the specific color you use!

Just beautiful Karen - so atmospheric ❤. I loved your tree bark techniques - giving them texture and light makes such a difference and you managed to hold back on the spongeing! Stunning result 👏. Huge thanks 🙏

I'm really looking forward to trying my third attempt at watercolours. In my earlier years bluebell woods were a favourite of mine. Back then I worked with free-machine embroidery and so trees and flowers were perfect subjects. Later I changed to encaustic wax and again bluebell woods featured a lot. Now I'm 80 and recently I decided to look on YouTube for help. When I found your beautiful work and helpful tutorials I started to paint, often in the middle of the night when I can't sleep, but painting stills my mind. My first painting was of your clover. So exciting to do and so pleased with the results. Thank you Karen x

That's a great painting it really works with the limited palette
There is a warm patch in the sky too and all the marks come together
Thank you James

Every day I walk my dogs through a wood which, at this time of the year is filled with bluebells. I’ve often wondered how I would go about painting such a complex scene. Having watched your video, I think I’ll give it a go!
Many thanks.
