I purchased an MG 5 long range and it broke after 1000 miles

"Whilst charging the battery last Saturday an error message came up, HV Battery shut off. I contacted MG Assist who sent out a recovery vehicle who left me at the roadside at mid day last Saturday (14th January) when I managed to get to the MG garage they said they could not find out why the error. It is now Sunday 22nd January and still have no car and the Garage is still waiting for a reason from for the shut down of the battery from MG."
