בנושא של התודעה והבעיה הקשה אני ממליץ על הפילוסוף האידאליסט Bernardo Kastrup.
הוא גם השפיע המון על קוך עצמו, ובפודקאסט מהחודשים האחרונים הוא אמר שהוא מתקרב יותר ויותר לעמדתו.

It is difficult for materialists in a Materialistic Age, such as we are in, to comprehend the intangible or to even think that the intangible exists. In higher ages the idea of the intangible was much easier to grasp and accept. It is likely that consciousness is fundamental and that mind is elemental and emerges with quantum events. The thought of consciousness being fundamental; not elemental brings up the question of an intelligence, greater than the human, in which the human shares. That is a last resort for atheistic philosophy and science today. Consciousness that has a Self is a possibility they would rather not contemplate much less accept.

"It's just an illusion." And just what is an illusion? Free will is neither unpredictability nor determination. Free will is freedom from constraint by such as by convention.
