Hey Theo ... I just picked up the LG CX48" for a client monitor and plan on using Calman to calibrate. The LG CX has a ton of different settings, Dynamic Contrast, OLED luminance, Cinema profile, and all the "Advanced" settings. Checking off for all the motion stuff and other obvious selections is a no-brainer. However, what about all the other settings, which are numerous. Any suggestions? Thanks - Scott

Hi Theo. I follow your channel for a few years, great work man. I need a little help. I have my oled connected via decklink, and follow all your instructions. I have been using display Cal for years for my gui monitor. So I calibrate the oled with calman and the GUI monitor with display Cal. But I don know why, calman has a very greenish white balance, ( or display Cal has a magenta white balance) now I don know which is right. Did you notice that too? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.

Thanks. This is the best calibration guide for LG TVs that I've found. Many are a bit too verbose or a bit unfocused and tend to be in the hours for length. 👍

Great video, thanks. I have a LG C1 and bought a service remote "Factory SVC Remocon MKJ39170828". The C1 does not recognize the remote. Does the LG C1 need a different service remote control?

If you LG TV is on Wifi, and on the same network as your computer, that is OK, right ? On another video, someone mentions your TV needs to be connected to your computer via Ethernet.

i have a c2 model, and i can't find a working service menu code, also how do you calibrate it using an IO device?, i have a decklink mini monitor 4k feeding directly to the C2 oled

I had 2 questions.

1. To your knowledge, is there another way to access the service menu on the LG CX? Can't believe you need to buy a 3rd remote to access the menu.
2. Have you ever tried the Teranex 8K HDR SDI to HDMI in particular the calibration function. I'm consdering buying that vs a Calman license as I have other monitors to calibrate (Asus ProArt PA32UCX)

Thank you so much for this video. I just got my LG C1 and calibrated it with your help. So far I am super happy, but one setting is confusing me. Did you set your black level in the brightness settings of your TV profile to limited or full? Limited gives me pure blacks and whites, but I feel like I am loosing some information at the low and high ends. Especially when I compare it to my calibrated iMac and LCD Monitors.
