NOTE on punctuation. There's an interesting typo in the final exercise. I didn't mean to insert commas at 22:46 (I am, too) and 23:23 (I will, too). Some may agree it's a typo. Others may think, "I don't see anything wrong with it." Not all writers and sources agree on the use of the comma before "too."

In school, I believe I was taught to use a comma before "too, " but later it became clearer to me that the comma could make a difference. With the meaning of "also, " the word "too" doesn't really need a comma in that final position:
I'll always respect other language learners. -- I will too. = I feel the same way. I will also do this. OR Like you, I will also respect others.
To this day, I still sometimes insert a comma before "too" regardless of the meaning, and then only later rethink it and remove it.

I would, however, intentionally use a comma if "too" broke the flow of the sentence: You mentioned your respect for language leaners. I, too, respect others who are studying a foreign language.

Writers also generally agree that a comma before "too" helps create a shift from one topic to another: I have great respect for those who study different languages. I respect musicians who play different instruments, too. In both cases, people are challenging themselves to express themselves in different ways.

I hope that sheds some light on the use of a comma with "too."

A good summary of past lessons, delivered at brisk pace to the rhythm of hand and facial gestures. Examples are well chosen. Your students have gathered a lot of confidence in the interim, but teacher is far ahead! Cheers Jennifer esl.

Summary of using comma with "too":

- "Too" doesn't need comma in a final position with the meaning of "also".
- Use comma with "too" if it breaks the flow of a sentence.
- Use comma with"too" if there's a shift from one idea to another.
Have a nice day!

Really u r the best teacher I have ever seen.
Could you spotlight on the meaning and pronunciations of some words like beloved, crooked etc.?
When do we pronounce crooked id or t and so on with many similar words?
If u please, could make a lesson about that subject?
Thank you very much indeed in advance.

Hello Jennifer! Nice to see you and your students in a new format:) Thanks a lot for the lesson! It was a bit confusing for me of how to use such sentences because of a different structure of negative sentences in English and my mother tongue. I tried to do all the exercises from the lesson to get new skills.
