It doesnt react with oxygen. The danger comes from humidity

How is this stuff extracted? I am imagining that it must come from rock?but ground temperature is usually warm so how do you even find it without blowing up?

I once spilled a vial that contained 10g+ of cesium metal and it nearly instantly caught fire. It was probably due to the high surface area as it spilled out and spread out rather quickly. But yeah, I had it combust in air before.

Caesium droplets combust no matter how you send them out. Unless it's in a non reactive gas and onto a non reactive material.

it did combust tho you can see a blue flame on the front tip of the ampoule as it spins
