My first car was a vauxhall commodore/chevrolet opala, it's easy to work on, runs vor literally ever (50 years by now without big repairs), looks beautiful, is comfortable and cheap af! I bought mine for 2.5k and was able to drive it with small repairs after only one week.

These prices are pre (stupid car prices). I've been looking for an RSX Type S just to tinker with and here are the prices and mileage. 10k for ones with over 100k miles and 25k for ones with under 50k miles. Cheapest one I've seen in the last 6 months was 10k with over 150k miles.

For a first car I would definitely not recommend the first 2. Unless you're trying to raise the corvette prices up by crashes

Most if not all are cars that will brake down for sure sooner or later. I used to have a 325i, the car cost 4K… As months went by I realized that I ended up spending twice what it cost to fix it, and in the end so many things didn’t work that I sold it for scrap. They are money pits
