The fact that Kim is in the background going "No, but, that IS what I want. Do that!" is so heartening.

"Your kids, who are in a GREAT mood in the morning..." I feel that DEEP, y'all.

My oldest daughter graduated high school this year. Bittersweet; relish and just enjoy every moment, and like one Seasoned Mama told me, “Ride the waves”. It was an emotional roller coaster of a year, and it didn’t completely hit me until a week before graduation. That’s when I openly bawled my eyes out. Lol

My son is a senior too! I'm in denial.

Kim, you are such a good sport. If I saw a time lapse like that of my child, I think I would die.

I even took a First Day of School photo of my son on the first day of the 20-21 school year when he was doing remote learning! Now both of my kids are out of school.
My daughter graduated from Northwestern in June. On the first day of senior year, they have a photo op event where seniors take photos holding signs that say “Last First Day of Class at Northwestern.” It was so cute, and I made a Christmas ornament out of the photo she took with her roommates!

The reality is, this is a momentous occasion. Senior year is a big deal. The feelings you get from your kids growing up and leaving you is a lot to process, and while you're happy for them to grow and spread their own wings, you also are going to be experiencing grief about the coming life changes.

I just finished my senior year and I move in to my college dorm in about three weeks. My mom is still trying to come to terms with it. ❤❤ Luckily, I'm only an hour and a half away so I can come home for weekends if I want, but it's so sad seeing my mom grieve me moving away.

Heyyy you two…. Flash forward to 5 years after graduation and the kids …are in 2 different places …when you come across some random picture and random homework that you were told to “throw away! Quit-hanging on to every-little-thing in their education!”But, you instead of tossing away “every single thing from school “ decided to show Penn what you’ve found and HE is so moved that “you had the wherewithal to save something so precious!”Lol ! best part is when you say, “should we send it to them ?” (Only, you were talking about sending a screenshot- he only listened to part of what you said) and HE says’” are YOU crazy? Don’t put something like that in the mail! It’s irreplaceable!” Lol…yeah, some of us moms…. Y’all are great people and great parents 💞

🥲So relatable. My seventh child (of 8) starts senior year next week. There are no annual pics or *gasp* time lapse. Hopefully he still gets into a good school without it😂
