I have Prada flats i got for $10 at goodwill and they’re my fav shoe i own. I got Prada heels the same trip for $30 but they’re gorgeous so very much worth the upcharge. it’s luckiness and dropping into thrift stores constantly without the expectation of buying, just checking to see what you may find!

As someone that has been in the industry for a while, I hate to break it to everyone, but when real designer that’s worth something is donated, the thrift stores themselves are selling the stuff on eBay etc . There’s a really rigorous sifting process that make sure that anything that could be sold elsewhere to make more of a profit for the company will do so and not be brought to the sales floor. It’s been happening for decades

I thrift at a flea market in sc, I have found an insane amount of authentic coach bags, shoes and Kate spade purses. My collection keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I got a pair of Miu Miu flats (not ballerinas) in so good conditions... and cost me jist 1 dollar ... they are like "sued" material, pointy and baby blue or something like that... Is Miu Miu an expensive brand? in my country barely hear from that brand... Hugs from El Salvador

Ok as a former fashion retail owner I could never go to any thrift store let alone buy from there I know I’m a snob. But because of these finds I’m going to start looking lol 😝 thanks love !

Those are barely worth the $8.99. They look hideously cheap and tacky. Not to mention for a supposedly expensive brand those dont look like they provide proper support for the soles of your feet.

Frankly I would not pay $8.99 for those flats.
