It's original name is "GianGanj" it is mentioned in the ancient Hondu Puranas as a place located at the top of Mount in plain sight ur present. Lord Shivas place of meditation.

Many around the world have given this city new names. Shan gri LA. Shambala. Etc etc. It is located on top of Mount kailash. U may know it as Mount Meru. The unclimbable mountain in the Himalayas.

Yes! This kind of places do exist. There are many names for it like Gyanganj. Many Indian yogis have went there. In gyanganj, there live yogis who are more than 1000 years of age.
Most of the knowledge about Gyanganj was given by Vishudhananda Paramhansa who has gone to Gyanganj. There he learnt various science which are far more advanced than today's science.

This is true. There are scripts supporting this story in other cultures like the Chinese call it Shangri-la and it is also known as Sham-e-bala.
