How to play Minecraft with friends (for free)

A quick explanation of how to play Minecraft with anyone on the internet, without the need for a server.

With port forwarding, anyone can connect to your Minecraft world using your external IP address if you use the "Open to LAN" option.

thanks for the vid but, how exactly do ur friends join, do i make a single player world do the open to lan enter the port number…where does that show up for my friends, does it pop up in the multiplayer area then they need to enter that IP or….
