Novak Djokovic's mother | Australia keeping him prisoner

Novak Djokovic has effectively been imprisoned by the Australian authorities in the row over a Covid-19 medical exemption, his mother has claimed.

The 34-year-old is being detained at the Park Hotel, a state-run quarantine facility in Melbourne which has also housed asylum seekers, while awaiting the outcome of an appeal against the decision by the Australian Border Force to cancel his entry visa and deport him.

It is becoming evident that Tennis Australia fucked up (maybe even on purpose) by issuing 5 medical exemptions to overseas players, as the federal government had told Tennis Australia a week before they issued the medical exemptions that these medical exceptions would most likely *not* meet federal immigration standards.

In fact, the federal government gave Tennis Australia guidance a year prior that players had to be double vaccinated unless they can't be vaccinated for medical reasons.

Now the ball was dropped between the federal and state governments on the initial issuing of the visas (apparently the computer did it automatically 😂🤣😂).

Also, for some reason, the Victorian government rubber stamped the medical exceptions based on recommendations from Tennis Australia. Probably the computer automatically did this too 🤣😂.

In some sense, Djokovic is innocent, because at face value, he was issued a medical exception and a visa, but in another sense, he is guilty of gaming the system, as even I knew Australian Border Force would not let him into the country, and surely his high prices lawyers must have been aware of this too?
