Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Paul Bromwell to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

If you got Shamrock and Angle saying you're legit, then you're legit.

Steve Blackman always had the most symmetrical build.

I was actually a huge fan of Blackman during the AttEra. Also, he was surprisingly funny without trying to be. The stuff with Al Snow was hilarious.

My mom knew Steve Blackman.. My mom would work at her family restaurant and he was a regular there.. and he was pretty much the same guy as you saw on TV.. He would come in every week alone and order the same thing every single time and he wouldn't say a word to anybody the entire time. He would just sit alone, eat his steak, leave a tip and roll out. He wasn't a mean guy at all. He was friendly and never gave anybody a hard time but he was just really serious. Trying to even get a smile out of him wasn't likely.

You could see the crazy in Blackman's eyes. He was "calm like a bomb."

I used to love the mid card matches back then. So stacked with talent. The Blackman vs Shamrock matches were awesome.

I never ever once questioned Steve's legitimacy, he was one of my favorite guys from the Attitude era. The man has ALWAYS been in great shape, even now and he's almost 60 years old. Unlike a lot of wrestlers from the past, I have never ever seen Steve out of shape.

Steve Blackman had a gym in my Mall growing up... Seen him eating Chinese food at the food court was mind-blowing to me. He was my favorite wrestler In the video game. Was scared to talk to him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Blackman while treating his dog as a vet tech. I'm only 5'9" so when I came in the room to talk to him, he made the room seem smaller. Super nice guy. I never thought I'd see one of my favorite wrestlers in the little rinky dink clinic I worked at.

When I didn’t take anything in wrestling seriously, I still took Steve Blackman seriously.

Blackman is legit I've been to his old school in PA to train and he's been a guest teacher at Ground Control MMA in Baltimore Maryland he's not someone you want to mess with but he's also one of the nicest people ever

There's an interview with Steve on Title Match Wrestling from 2007, where they asked him how Kurt would fare in MMA. Steve said Angle had no striking, so he wouldn't do well. Steve was blunt and honest - as you'd expect him to be.

He's in my top three! Blackman is a role model and a performer and a survivor and I really hope a Christian. That would be the total package

You could tell Steve Blackman was legit just by his demenor.
He was an interesting guy during the attitude Era, I didn't dislike him but I also wasn't a huge fan. But I liked him. They started opening up more doors for him with the likes of AL snow and trish made for some underrated classic segments

Teddy Long, in a shoot interview, where Steve Blackman was stretching and Big Show started to mess with. Blackman stopped stretching and took down Big Show with his legs. This back when Big Show was 500 pounds!. Steve Muhphigin Blackman is legit!

When me and my mates play wrestled on the streets, we all gave our selves superstar aliases. One was Rock, one was HHH etc etc. I was Steve Blackman. What a wrestler.

when someone has strength and size (strong base) like Brock, he won't botch and fumble someone onto the ground awkwardly.
Blackman was so intense and shredded when he wrestled. He hit so crisp, fast, and to the point. it looked good
