Presenter: Stephanie Rummel

Educators at all levels often struggle with providing effective feedback, and many students express dissatisfaction with the feedback they receive. Educators and students often believe that responsibility for feedback’s utility belongs to the teacher.

In this session, we will consider how to reframe the way we view feedback, placing emphasis on the learner. We'll work to define feedback literacy and identify transferable skills that help learners reflect on and implement feedback they receive, not only in their studies, but in daily life. We'll also explore several practical activities designed to develop English language learners’ feedback literacy skills.
