I just made my first tie dye t shirt and came out beautiful. I used the one with the shirt in a bunch and the rubber bands making it into a soft ball. Thank you.

Make sure to get your dye into the cracks and crevices. It will not turn out good unless you really weave the tip of your bottle into the cracks, and even use your gloves to rub it in. I did it and it turn out out almost completely white with blotches (it was supposed to be spiral). Did it again, while doing it slower and getting the dye more into the fabric, and it turned out great!

I was in the t-shirt printing for a few years, one thing I learned that dye ink washes out real fast from the shirt, so I started to use direct to garment ink, however it cost a lot more than dye ink.
