How To Make Rainbow Spiral Tie Dye T-shirt

THINGS TO DYE:
Whatever you tie dye should be 100% cotton! I typically use Gildan brand clothing. Here are some options:

So I want to tie dye 2 shirts rainbow. I have a few questions seeing as I've never done this before. From all the videos I've seen online, most only use the primary colors to achieve a rainbow effect but I was wondering if I could use all 6 colors of the rainbow individually. Would it make a difference? Also I'm very confused as to how much dye I actually need. I want to make 2 shirts so if I (theoretically) divided each into 6 parts for each color, how many ounces would I need of each color? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Material

1. White Shirt
2. Rubber Band
3. Gloves
4. Grille
5. Bucket
6, 7, 8 : Tie Dye Color, Red Yellow Blue
9. Plastic Bag

Step 1 : make the shirt as flat surface, twist the shirt at the middle and make it spiral

Step 2 : tie your shirt with rubber band

Step 3 : Wear gloves, set the grille on the bucket and dye it by the 3 primary colors ; red, yellow, blue
Dye each color 2 of 6 parts, do the same with other side.

Step 4 : Keep it in plastic bag and store it in dry place, wait for 24 hours

Step 5 : Wash it and Wear It!!!
