How to Move a MATURE ROSE BUSH. 1 Year Update. SUCCESS!

How to move a rose bush. How to transplant a mature rose bush.
This is an update from the video which I filmed around 12 months ago when I transplanted a mature rose bush.

Prepare the planting hole in advance and water well, add some organic matter.
Water the rose well for a few days to get it hydrated.
Try to move the rose in the dormant period when it is not growing.
Prune the rose back a little, sharp clean secateurs or loppers, Diagonal cuts to an outward facing bud.
Replant to exactly the same depth or slightly higher, no deeper.
Keep well water for the first 12 months.

Living in ireland so looked up best way to move old rose bush and guess where I'm from and guess suddenly family still live, yes london😅😅😅NO shavington and this last three years we've spent more time around Nantwich as lost my dad, mum and brother so this could be a sign from my dad as he was the best gardener, I miss not being having him to check doing right thing in garden, so I will pay attention.if your going from chillies toward top of sugar loaf in shav on bend before bus stop there is a house for sale and hoping garden is still looking good we've tried to do best but not easy when you live miles and small sea away..❤.
