Please share the link above with your social group, I really need all the help I can get, and good will. Thank you. Help Alin Grecea in his struggle with Glioblastoma

I had to dig this heavy stone, lift it from the ground and move it and position as I need it. And this can help on how to move a heavy rocks by yourself.

This two month project started when I wanted to build a small garden with stone raised beds for gardening and experiments in rooting plants. But when I saw this huge stone in the ground I thought this would be a nice addition as a little shrine to the garden or a bit of boulder scaping to the stone garden. This video is a challenge for myself to compress one month and change of work in 33 seconds. And also focus mostly on the process of moving this giant rock. My own small megalith in the back yard. It was a lot of work and a lot of roadblocks I ran into, and problem solving.

The most used tool in this process was the 3 Ton Liftmaster ultralow profile Jack and I have lifted that thing perhaps 300 times to position it to get the rock out of the ground. The jack is now still working like a charm, so if you want to get this garage jack for yourself I think is a good investment especially if you like to DIY auto repair. The link is below.

Very clever to use a jack as a form of levering tool. Not exactly full on ancient methods, but very much in the spirit of them. When the rocks become too heavy for the muscles, they aren't too heavy for the brain :)

The pyramid builders are all looking down and laughing from wherever they went.

Good work.

I get annoyed with videos that go too slow but in your case it's so fast that it's not worth watching. I used the slowest speed possible and if I have to keep stopping the video to see what's going on, then it's easier to go find a different video. This is probably why you're not getting more likes on this, which is really too bad, since you're really good at what you're doing.

Oh man! I have been trying to move a big slab of concrete, but I never thought to place the jack at an angle! Thank you!

You are brilliant. I was trying to install a 1600 pound boulder above house ( major road and driveway above house) on a steep hill-and it missed the dug out cradle, rolled down the hill, down the driveway, missed the propane tank by 5 feet before taking out an above ground planter and some stairs. It's wedged in a railroad tie stair case now, before a 30 foot drop to a ravine. I have to move it. Your video gave me hope. Thank you. And before anyone responds-I already know, I am a complete moron.

This was great to watch! I just finished moving a boulder with the winch mounted on the front bumper of my 4Runner.

So much stone, so little time! Im doing small pond and have one to move one half that size. Ive been doing the same thing, but with levers and spacers. Im searching for magic! And yes it is fun, thanks for the accelerated view of my future :)

Would have enjoyed the video a lot more if it was slowed down. But on the flip side I def learned something new and for that I thank you.

I used a bottle-jack, but I can see where the floor jack would be better. What's with the log you tied in the tow strap? I notice you did that a couple of times.

Now just imagine the Egyptians did this with 60 tons plus and moved them hundreds of miles and then lifted them 400 feet in the area. They also didn't have any of the tools you had.

Well done mate. Hard work, but very satisfying I presume.

Wait what? First video I’ve seen where the thumbnail lasted longer than the actual video.
