I was thinking of switching from Spotify to YouTube Music simply because you get YT Premium and Music for a great bundle. However, there was one thing that annoyed the hell out of me, liking any song adds that music video to your normal liked videos on youtube.

I don't know why youtube could've made a dedicated list for liked music instead of mixing my liked videos with my liked songs. Anyone feel annoyed?

Differentiating *Add to Queue* and *Play Next* is a YTM feature that I wish Spotify can do.

Also, the UI of YTM is consistent with material design, enabling something as simple as swiping the Now Playing pane up or down.

I must add, since Youtube and Youtube Music are integrated the music links can be modified so that it takes you on the Art Track (The Topic uploads) version on YouTube. The albums themselves appear on the playlist section of a youtube channel. It was a nice way to view the comments on the songs considering that art tracks don't like to appear whenever I search them. HOWEVER, Youtube decided to disable comments on art track, so I can no longer view comments and discuss with other people.

I kinda wanted YouTube Music to enable comments, but since they removed it, it's no longer happening

Now people, THIS video is an OFFICIAL review in general! This review was so good that I literally watched the ENTIRE video to the end with EASE lol! He actually showed himself or whoever utilizing the app and we can see images and video of it. This isn't just a chat RANT video like A LOT of people here on Youtube who title their video "Review". This video review actually speaks about the features of the app. I certainly had to give this video a like!

Ultimately youtube music is by far best music streaming ever. Yes alot of bugs going on but there's alot bootleg and remix music that cannot find on apple music and spotify.

Unlike Spotify and Deezer, Youtube Music has actual good default playlists or predictions of what I like. I pick a melody and I don't have to bother, it will go on with quality music of the genre I selected until I pick another starting melody.
Spotify is not even close, but that's my personal preference. If you want to discover music without having to search for it or invest too much time, Youtube Music is the way to do it.

they only thing I somewhat like about YTM is the fact that you can upload your own songs and download it to your library for offline listening. However there is no option to sort the songs by artist, album, alphabetically, or anything useful, really. I search an artist in my downloads, press play, it plays one song from that artist and then the next song is by a different artist.

Thanks so much for the great review. I enjoy YouTube music also. I get it along with my YouTube premium subscription, so it makes it all worth the money. I really enjoy watching music videos, live concerts, listening to remixes, and rare tracks all on one device. I also enjoy the fact that I can also manually add my own tracks to the service.

I came to YouTube Music from Apple music. I love Apple music as well and it was hard to completely leave for a while, but that is definitely what I am doing now because I also love the fact that YouTube music comes free with a Youtube Premium subscription. I can't complain about that. YouTube music is not perfect, but I do think it's a great subscription service. they are also continuously updating it, so it will only get better with time!

Great video! But the breakdown of the lyrics feature is missing in this video. YT Music doesn't support live lyrics as some other platforms do. This IMO is a big miss and needs to be added to YT Music ASAP.

I listen to some music that's somewhat obscure. YouTube music almost never fails.
It's my go to music app.

Two big problems with YTM: 1) The weird and confusing blending of YouTube (video) playlists with YTM playlists. From a UX perspective they should be completely separate, but they are not. 2) That there isn’t a dedicated Win10 app with, say, a sidebar for easy drag’n’drop.

This may be because of my poor internet connection, but whenever I open Spotify and want to search something it always says no internet connection for the first time I open it. I have to close and open it again just so I can search.

On YouTube Music though I don't experience that problem even with poor internet connection.

If it wasn't for the youtube premium bundle, I would be using spotify right now which works with my Samsung fridge and tesla.
