Hope this helped with figuring out the best music streaming for you. Now I need to remember to cancel all my free trials...ESPECIALLY Prime Music. What the heck is that garbage heap? haha. Also, Google Play Music is being merged into YouTube Music, so that wasn't included and Tidal wasn't because we wanted to keep the video focused and not get boring. It's great for audiophiles though! Either way, thanks for watching and feel free to AMA!

YouTube music is better because i can get mix tapes and remixes.

I've been using Google Play Music for nearly 3 years now, and very happily. Having YouTube Red (Premium, now) included is great, and GPM has all the power user options I need personally. The number one reason I'm not thrilled about YouTube Music is the fact that everything ties into your YouTube subs, history, and algorithms. I have always made sure to keep my YouTube for tech, news, educational content, and the like. I don't want music clogging up a service I use for a specific type of media! So for now, I'm not budging from GPM at all.

YouTube Music is my personal favorite.

I don't think it's fair to compare Prime Music to the other three. If anything, use Amazon Music Unlimited, which is Amazon's actual competitor to the other paid streaming services.

Prime Music is the FREE but VERY limited music streaming service that comes with Amazon Prime. The service that you clearly hate, and quickly removed from your comparison, is called Amazon Music Unlimited.

I happen to like AMU.

In India, You get Free Amazon Prime Music, with Amazon prime, which itself is only about 15$ for an entire year.

I use Spotify because YouTube music premium or whatever is only available with YouTube red, which is available in a very limited amount of countries (I live in Israel). Spotify recently officially came out in Israel, which means I can get Spotify premium. YouTube music without paying is practically regular YouTube with a dark theme.

I use Prime Music almost every day. It has most of what I am looking for. I would not call myself a power user though. I mostly use it because it comes with Prime. I wouldn't pay extra for it, but it is nice to have. I have only been thinking of switching to YouTube Music because of the YouTube premium add on as well. I am getting SO tired of YouTube ads.

Amazon has their music in HD. Sounds so much better than YouTube

I used Amazon music for the longest time and I've liked it more than Spotify. Most of my friends use Amazon music too. So I completely disagree with him implying no one uses Amazon music. It has more music on it, but I just recently switched to YouTube music which I feel has even more and the add free feature is amazing

Biggest problem with Spotify is the download limit. You can't download more than 3, 333 songs per device even if you have the family plan. This is a problem for me if I want to download my library I can't have all of it. It drove me nuts so I switched to Google Play Music and I have about 50gb of music downloaded at all times. The only feature I really miss from Spotify is the line level playback and kinda the discover weekly but I just have IFTTT automatically add each weeks song suggesting to a playlist and I use STAMP to transfer it occasionally.

You should have just replaced Amazon music with tidal, it's actually a really good app and has great playlist and stations.

I've tried them all and landed on Spotify. It works on all my devices including Alexa, Google Home, etc... The interface is just great too. The only down side for me, they don't offer clean versions of songs like Apple Music does.
