For me finding God is the purpose of being alive. There is so much noise in this world. The way Quakers search for peace they end up finding God

My best guess is that more often than not the worshipers will indeed connect to something. If one opens himself to and invites a connection to “whatever”, I have no doubt that something will connect. Especially if one insists acting as if the Way and the Truth haven’t been discovered to us and we must keep looking see what’s out there wishing to have access to our good souls and minds.

Am I correct in saying that all Quakers believe in a god but their beliefs about who or what a god is a personal opinion or view? Do Quakers have their own bible? Just curious.

It is probably one of the best religious groups. I am an Ignostic, not Agnostic. An Ignostic does not recognize the question of God as valid, so he does not need to accept or renounce it. I have a great deal of experience with different religious groups, from Buddhist monks to Muslims, Sufis, Christians, and Ultra-Orthodox Jews. Religion is a social construction that is used to control humans. As a humanist, I oppose all systems or ideas that try to control people. Although I find the Quakers very liberal and very little dogmatic. Good luck

I thought Quakers were followers of Christ? This seems very esoteric. Do they not believe that Jesus is the only way to the father?
