"This Masquerade" is played as a tribute to the American composer, singer and musician "Leon Russell", who unfortunately died in 2016. The song was originally recorded by Russell in 1972 for his album "Carney".
However, my inspiration to this instrumental version came from the American vocal duo, "The Carpenters" and their album "Now & Then" from 1973, an original album I still have in my record collection to this day.
"This Masquerade" I take great pleasure in playing at events where dinner music is desired.
