I know why Mr. George Benson is one of the most respected musicians in the world. When he came to Toronto he took me back into his dressing room for a guitar lesson, after I told him I wasn't sure if I should play left or right-handed, or upside-down, how I played my brothers' guitar. I followed his advice and I'm still playing.

I saw Benson in 1976 . I was in the last row in the 3rd balcony. It was a fantastic show! (Herbie Hancock was the warm up- no joke! )

Was privileged enough to get a chance to meet George Benson many years ago. A friend who worked in the venue he was performing at got me in to watch his rehearsal and then I met him. The rehearsal was as good as the concert that night!
