Canada election: Party leaders condemn profane protest disrupting Trudeau rally
Показать описание
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau was forced to cancel his campaign event in Bolton, Ont. on Friday, after a large group of unruly anti-vaccine protesters showed up, triggering a slew of security concerns.
Later on at a different location, Trudeau said "it is something that Canadians, all of us need to reflect on, because it's not who we are. It's not who we want to be as a country."
Meanwhile, the Conservative candidate for the riding Trudeau was visiting tweeted that a few of his supporters were at that protest, and were no longer welcome on his campaign.
As Mike Le Couteur reports, party leaders of all stripes are condemning the profanity-laced demonstration.
