The HU12015 was designed for bleeding or priming Diesel systems. It can be connected in-line with the vehicles low pressure delivery system and its clear pipes allow any air bubbles in the system to be seen. It is ideal for VW - Mercedes - PSA - Renault - Fiat - Opel - Rover – Ford and many more brands.

Usually cranking the engine for a couple of minutes max will bleed the air out and eventually start. Just never crank longer than 30 sec in 1 go, give the starter a little break.

I use syringe for 50p to fill up diesel filter and then take car for 3 mile spin and boot it to get all the air out and it works just fine

So when you disconnect the priming tool, doesn't air get back into the system ? Video doesn't show that step.

i have a cold start problem on my 2003 d4d corolla. If i press the fuel primer button, it starts much better. What is your diagnoses of the cold start problem eg fuel pressure too low in an injector. All injectors sound perfect though and electrical resistance is 1.2 ohms, so ok ?

So as someone having a go at home I'd assume the low pressure side is the return line?
