Totally agree, as a samsung fan I hate that samsung can't make watches that's accurate like iWatch. The heart rate sensor and gps works very well

frankly speaking it can be used for notifications and calls. Workouts can be tracked upto an extent but no one should rely on smartwatches health data. I use Apple Watch with my iPhone SE and it works like a charm. Battery sucks.

I think you can use an Apple Watch LTE version as a standalone device (like a smartwatch plus bluetooth wala iPod maybe), but still to set it up for the first time or to get updates, you do need an iPhone or an iPad for that..
