The issue is not with using AI its with how they are trying to do it.
They are trying to take voice actors voices without their permissions AND without monitary compensation

I just got to the part of Natlan where you talk to Katheryne, and suddenly, Katchina walks up and doesn't say a word. I am very glad that the EN VAs are finally coming back and are hopefully going to be well by whatever new company they will be working under.

am 1000% behind the VA, gaming sure is about the gaming fun, but there are much more important principle here on play and its perfectly OK with me that the voice line not get voiced in this situation .. I hope all goes well for the game but I hope for better towards the VA(s)

They added kachinas voice to the 5.1 archon quest so honestly I might be waiting a bit to play the archon/story quests so I can hear them. It sucks you can’t go back and play it at least for these specific ones.
