I have always said this? Ever since I became Muslim so many brothers and sisters ask me why I haven't changed my name? I say why? Why do I need to change my name?

There are two words which are gentle on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to ar-Rahmaan: –
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subhana allaahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana allaahil atheem
‘Far is Allah from imperfection and praise is for Him, Far is Allah The Sublime from imperfection.

David in Arabic is Dawud so you don't have to change it because it's the same name.

Idk how true but I saw some comments in a filipino video discussing names after converting that there are reverts trying to perform Umrah but denied because they don't have arab names in their papers

I have a feminine name (lauren) even though I am a man; is it mandatory for me to change it? everyone knows me by that name including people at the mosque I attend and no one seems to have a problem with it but me lol
