I love Jeff Saturday letting them both know how wrong they are. As someone who actually played in the NFL and saw it first hand

Stephen A took the conversation way into left field

Big Ben & Jeff saturday are 100% correct here. Big Ben is speaking on it because he's a steeler at heart and just like us steelers fans. We don't know whats the identity of this team and what in the world is going on.

Ben is right, as a Steelers fan he’s right man… we are not the same anymore. It’s time for a change

SAS is such a clown. 3800 yards & 33 TDs, and 3700 yards & 22TDs while being ranked around 16th-17th in the league at QB in those years, and SAS says he stayed too long? WTF? Dude at 38 YO with 2 bad knees & a reconstructed elbow, with an awful OL & no running game, was still better than 15-16 other starting QBs in the league.

Stephen A is off his rocker on this one smh

He is basically saying that Big Ben was responsible for finding a replacement that should be as successful as himself. 😂😂😂😂😂

As a Steelers fan we dont claim Stephen A. I forgot he was even a fan.

Big Ben isn't wrong though. And it's not his fault the offense has no one stepping up. Najee out of all people, should be the 1 getting in there faces. He's out there getting busted up bc they're not blocking correctly on most of his running plays and making him look inconsistent.

I have never heard that a retired player was responsible for the locker room transition ever in my life. And it’s not the Ben retired too late they drafted a replacement too late so tiny hand Picket had to learn from Mitch instead of a perennial pro bowler

Stephen A. couldn't be more wrong on this. Ben was very vocal in passing the torch and the local media covered it often. Maybe he didn't have the best relationship with Mason Rudolph but he went to great lengths to make sure guys like Cam Heyward and Najee Harris took that torch and kept it going, and he has been in touch closely with Pickett. There is almost no one else left from Ben's tenure in that offense currently. The Steeler way started to fade when they hired a guy who didn't understand as head coach in Mike Tomlin and every player from Cowher's team that left took a little of the culture with them. This is not on Ben, he is one of the few the kept it as long as he did.

Stephen A is right that Ben stuck around too long, but Saturday is right as well, elite franchise QBs tend to stick around too long with their team. The only teams that avoid this are ones that have an immediate, high level sucessor like Montana to Young or Farve to Rodgers.

100% wrong Stephen First and foremost it's the coach's responsibility to create and uphold team culture. Tomlin has allowed that to slip away and from that, he's losing control of his team. That's 100% on the coach. Second, they're called the Pittsburgh Steelers, not the Ben Roethlisberger Steelers. TEAMS win and lose. You can have (personally) a phenomenal year...have great individual stats but your team can still fall short. You can totally give it your all and put forth 110% effort and still lose out - after all only 1 team gets to hold the Lombardi Trophy - which means 31 teams fell short or failed. Ben's final 2 years as a "statue?" 2020: 33 TD, 10 INT....2021: 22 TD, 10 INT for a combined, 55 TD, 20 INT. Nearly a 3:1 ratio of TD/INT. Any QB (EVER) would take that, especially in their last 2 years as a "statue." The fact that the Steelers playoff record wasn't as good in Ben's second half of his career as it was in his first half had nothing to do with Ben. No one ever accused Ben of taking a play off or slacking or not playing "the Steeler way."

95 percent of the players on offense wasn’t on the team when Ben played. How is it his fault ?

Ben isn’t completely clean but let’s not act like we haven’t seen more offensive players act out since he left. Also Stephen A is one of the biggest issues when it comes to fandom I hate that he is a Steelers “fan”

When I saw the headline about Ben Roethlisberger's hands not being clean, this is not what I was expecting.

listen to James Harrison say 5 years ago when he compared MT to BB after playing for the patriots. MT is a cheerleader

SAS is dead wrong here. Big Ben was carrying that team for a long time and now that offense is a disaster. Tomlin's #1 job is morale, confidence, and ensure accountability. That's the HCs main job!

Ridiculous argument. Where is he suppose to go if they're paying him. The coaching staff in Pitt needs to be flushed.
