Watch before renting a Car in Heraklion, Crete, Greece: Car and Go

Well Maybe not so fast. The price for 2 weeks was less than 200 eu, unlimited milage. That's a great price. Oh did I mention that it doesn't come with a spare tire??
We took a cab the 1st day about a 25 minute drive cost us 45.00 eu one way, with tip. So it was a no brainer to rent a car. Car and Go makes their money in other ways. Minor faults on the car, and boy do they examine the car upon return. Before returning, the car must be professionally cleaned . When have you done that? They charge 25. eu if it's not clean. We found a self serve "lets Wash" 8 minutes away cost us about 4 eu.
Because I had the car for 2 weeks I bought a bike pump for piece of mind. How long will you wait for a Tire Service to find you in the Mountains?
Best part she did direct us to the bus stop to get back to the Port 1.8 eu.

Thanks for the info about this company. By the way, most of today’s cars no longer come with spare tires.

I have been renting car for over 40yrs and I had never cleaned any of my rental cars. I have just made sure that we wouldn't mess up the floor and seats in the car. Definitely not the body.
