Botnets vs. Bots!

Bots (robots) are software applications that, on command, perform automated tasks to imitate or substitute a human. At the same time, botnets (a combination of robots and networks) are a collection of infected computers. Bots account for more than half of all web traffic. In themselves Bots and Botnets aren't necessarily bad, it depends on how they are used and for what applications and what purposes -- malicious or good business practices.
