We should not be helping the big businesses - it's the small and medium businesses that need the help & that need to get back to work.

Members of the liberal party should cut their own pension. Use the money to fund city’s shortfalls because Trudeau, Tam, Patty brought Canadians this disaster

Business don’t need loans, they need to work. Loans are just going to put these companies under undue financial pressure when they re-open.

We really need to push the Government to help the most vulnerable at this time. Ontario Works pays monthly $735.00, Ontario Disability Support Program pays monthly $1169.00. We need to stop shaming these people and give them at least enough to make ends meet. The average 1 bedroom unit in Ontario is $1400.00. This leaves a person forced to use credit, and this is not allowed under the current program. Canada needs a Universal Basic Income program NOW and not CERB as it is very flawed .

I support "FREE SPEECH" which is why I donated to "Rebel Media".
They don't censor their YouTube Channel unlike CBC, so feel free to check them out and comment.

So no one is excited that big companies are being treated the same as small businesses by getting loans rather than bailouts? Can someone please tell me what I'm missing here?

There have to be a number of conditions met to qualify. Nobody in upper management is to get any kind of bonus, stock options, or anything else above their normal salary (immediate or deferred). Upper management has to accept a permanent minimum of 10% pay cut to be applied to paying off the loan and provisions so that the money is not "Made Up" at some point. For far too long executives have made a killing on bail-out packages, they have to do their part now. Instead of buying back their stock, they should have been banking money for something like this.
