If Roman had still owned Chelsea they obviously won’t have sold virtually all their UCL winners and top 3 finishers and bought expensive injury prone kids so Chelsea would never have got themselves into this mess. However, as we are where we are, it is absolutely insane to sack the one manager who has a history of building a young team into title challengers and even taking them to the UCL Final. If Poch was given a chance next season it is almost certain he would have got into the top 4, but instead the owners have chucked it all away. People keep saying he doesn’t win trophies but who are Chelsea planning to appoint? Not Pep, not Klopp, not Jose. They are talking about Kieran McKenna who has won nothing and proved nothing as he hasn’t managed a single PL game. Poch was the ultimate project manager for improving a young team. If he had this team finishing in the top 4 for a couple of years but couldn’t win the title then maybe find a true winner but with Pep winning 6 out of 7 PL titles and Klopp retired there ain’t many proven winners left.

We were going in the right direction but we're back to square one again. It's never going to work if the manager isn't allowed some input regarding transfers in and out of the club.

Poch did well with the hand he was dealt and we improved when we had the injured players back in contention.
