I'd throw in an Amazon Kindle because lord knows having referential books without buying a whole paperback edition is great and useful! Also you should so do a university/post-university experience video i.e what it's like doing something that is somewhat different to your degree etc. Also Exeter was great when I went for an open day, didn't pick it as my firm or insurance though, sadly :(

I've just ordered an Asus UX530 with an i7, 8gb RAM and 512gb SSD for my lectures and then I've got my main rig at home. Looking forward!

If you're a student on a budget, the best buy would be something like the Chuwi Lapbook Air 14 (Google it). Around £300 from Gearbest etc.

What is better for college because they usually cost around the same (talking about a surface pro 5 or 2017) a 2 in 1 tablet like you showed or a laptop. I dont care about gaming

The Surface Pro is (in my opinion) not in the tablet class because it is a full PC running full Windows 10. Unlike Android and apple tablet devices. The only thing they have in common is that they have a touch screen and an optional keyboard.

Bought the Aspire vx15 about 3 months ago, battery recently broke down which I had to replace myself.
