Rammata's Abilities are INSANE! - Full Hero Breakdown

PlayOverwatch has revealed Ramattra's Full Hero Kit. Ramattra is a complex hero with multiple abilites and two forms, looking to be able to fight back against ranged and flying heroes unlike any tank before him, but also close the distance and brawl when he needs to. Possibly an incredibly overpowered addition to the hero roster!

I feel like an important detail that I haven’t heard you guys touch on yet is that the entirety of Nemesis Form is on a cooldown itself. So the block being indefinite is kinda a moot point because you aren’t in that form indefinitely. You’re reducing damage to yourself for at most 8 seconds at a time. That’s why they’ve been referring to him as a Tempo Tank. Because you’ll need to find the correct timing to pop Nemesis and close in vs playing poke from a distance. I may be wrong but I don’t imagine he’ll be nearly as broken as some may be fearing.

Judging by his Ult I can see that being VERY impactful in Overtime situations imo, like GOOD LUCK trying to stall/contest when he has that popped on the Objective.

He is busted, no doubt about that. But I do predict his nemesis form being the overall weaker form.

Block is about 75% damage resistance, punch is 60 damage every .6 seconds ish, ult is about 30-40 dps with roughly a 1680 point cost, primary nanites seem to be about 100 dps (4 damage per bullet i think, assuming 2x headshot multiplier), the slow ability is like 10 dps, shield is 1000 health on a 15 second cooldown

blizzard: we want to reduce CC, shields, and increase hero diversity in ow2
also blizzard: adds a new tank with CC, a fat shield, and does the job of half the tank roster but better

I feel like just picking ramatra will just be constant value, he is gonna be amazing at literally all ranges, the only thing you can do to make him not a constant threat is to kill him, and it’s the same when he is in his ult as well

I'm so confused why EVERYONE is saying he is the first tank that can transform at will when Wrecking Ball can already transition between ball and walking mech anytime and has different attacks in each form.

I feel like these forward only blocks aren’t all as even as they should. Orissa spin covers so much area outside of her it’s hard to get around but I feel like doom and rama have a huge vulnerability it feels like their sides and back are still too exposed
