In this episode, we discuss the years 411-410 BC of the Peloponnesian War, including the the shifting of the naval war to the Hellespont, the vigor that Athens showed in carrying on the war effort against Sparta and Pharnabazos with victories at Cynossema and Cyzicus, the re-establishment of the radical democracy, and the transition from the historical account of Thucydides into that of Xenophon's Hellenica.

Nicely told! One of my favourite eras. I am so envious for future generations that get to look back 1000 years and see actual footage from our wars/conflicts etc...we don't have that luxury but we do have podcasts like this :) Cheers!

Hi, I have just found your channel and am really impressed with the quality of the content. I want to start listening to the podcasts from the start, but I noticed that the playlist goes from last to first and unfortunately YouTube doesn't have an option to reverse the order of a playlist. Is there any chance you could post a playlist starting from the first episode? No worries if this is not possible!
