Its fantastic, yes you are right its Rubab, an instrument used in Afghanistan, Central Asia and Pakistan specially areas bordering first two. This song was used as main theme song by British Royal for their visit to Pakistan. Khumariyaan have amazing songs with Rubab and covers loke GOT soundtrack, they are probably best and most famous band with Rubab as main instrument.

Yes, it's a Rabab! It's widely used in Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan, especially the neighboring KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) province. Bonus points to you for not missing the guy at the end flopping down to the floor 🤣

Sir, greetings from Pakistan. Its a Coke Studio classic. In my opinion, one of the best of Season 11. So rhthymic. I was dancing on that beat at 7am in the morning. I have already watched your amazing reactions four times to this one. The reaction did complete justice to the wonderful piece of music. Sir, your purity and genuineness was fully visible indicating your wonderful personality. The name of the band is "Khumariyan" but for ease of pronounciation i would write "Khoomaareeyaan". A great band from the province of Pakistan that borders Afghanistan and the instrument called is of course "Rubab" and is heavily played in Aghanistan and Pakistan music scene enthralling the viewers and listeners with such unique sounds. Even the dance was typical to that region. It was marvellous. Who would not like to listen to such amazing stuff and such amazing reactions. The dance is called Attan, and there is no official way to do it, the dance changes every 10 miles you go in Pakistan, each tribe having their own version of it. Some involve people moving in a line, other in a circle, some have the dancers spin, others have them simply turn a bit,
