I remember this song vividly. When I was doing my engineering, this song was the biggest hit in India for that whole year. This song was like the number one song for that whole year and was played in every function of the college. I saw the real singer - Hasan Jahangir today for the first time after like 2 decades. But the voice and singing, OMG, its epic. He is as good as he was that time. Kudos. Thank you Coke Studio Pakistan for bringing back my memories. This song still sounds so good, I can't believe it. Stood the test of time. Cheers.

As written in the description "an age old Folk tune turned Pakistani Pop Chart Topper".. dis wasn't only Pop chart topper in Pakistan, even in India it was massive hit.. even today also Bollywood tries to recreate the magic bt failed becoz the voice of Hasan Jehangir can't be replaced.. I do remember in late 90's my maternal uncle's marriage dis song was played, me and my cousins danced.. Good Old Memories.. Thnx Coke Studio Pakistan for refreshing those memories..
