Voice lessons, for whether you are speaking or singing can often forget to include an actionable approach to confidence. How to sing with confidence and how to have a confident voice are largely down to two things, the way we think and the way we act, AKA psychology and physicality. This video will look at these and how you can implement them for a more attractive voice and charisma.

I do I have one problem that is when I go to my relatives or my siblings, my brain goes blank and can't remember what to ask/speak/discuss with them!!! And also I m hearing impaired with 67% percent which means u can only hear 33% percent. I do wear hearing aids but only in college and classes, even I don't use them at home too.
I started wearing hearing aids at the age of 15 now I m 18(next month I will be 19).I know it shock to hear that why parents did tht late I was totally disabled when I was born but lucky my ears got open and started to hear some sounds. Even though I can't speak words/sentences properly and people
laughs on me tht I can't do anything. My parents put me in normal school like as regular students. So it means tht I was surrounded by regular student which was hard for me even I used to talk less among all students.(So I was full of negativity, selfish, unhappy) During school time, I never had or wear hearing aids, I got hearing aids when I joined college. Basically in my school students thought that I m also regular student like you all that why they use to laugh on me if I got hearing aid sooner I think my school time would have been simpler, easier and happier. When I meet new people I directly don't share my information that I m hearing impaired. I just try to talk normally like people does but still people don't like me maybe bcoz I don't talk properly
or can't pronounce the words. That's the problem I m getting. Please tell me how can I fix my problem and get the every person back together!!!
And sorry tht I wrote it too long and thanks for helping me!!!

English is my second language, and I came spoken English country. And I had to learn it; it is been two years now, and I find my personality changing like extrovert to introvert. I am people person. When I am around natives, I feel like I don't have confidence, no one will understand me, I starts staturing and my voice goes away. It makes me feel horrible 😞. I want change, I don't know how. I wholeheartedly agree with you as you when you said negative thoughtsI controls us. I once read somewhere "every behavior are belief driven.''I know my problem is my thoughts I have trillion boxes of negative thoughts in my mind.
Please help me how can I get rid off these thoughts.

😃👍
I will look stupid in this comment, for a while I have been thinking about cutting my hair, but rather completely because my hair is falling out, you gave me confidence to cut my hair, but rather complete, now your appearance gave me confidence.

I have a lot of terrible voices, which I only recently discovered due to this channel. It stands to reason I have a few golden voices I can learn as well. If you can see what I mean?

Thank you for valuable content. I would really like to hear what you have to say about voices and speech patterns of Jack Nicholson and Jeremy Irons.

Hi Darren, excellent content and this video on belief/affirmations is so close to my heart. This comment may be a little long but I hope you have the time to read it! Have you ever worked with or helped someone overcome a stutter/stammer anxiety?

I developed a stutter when I was around 12 years old and put up with it for around 15 years but it developed and worsened to a point where I could not get one sentence out without blocking when talking to others (By myself or on video I am perfectly fluent as are most people who stammer so it is purely a psychological/emotional issue). I found out about a very well known course starting with M (the one that focuses on coastal breathing and is completely run by people who stammer) that run 3 day intensive workshops and I thought what the heck, may as well give it a go. Long story short 3 days later I was standing on a stage in the mall of my capital city and delivering a perfectly fluent 3 minute speech to around 300 people plus random passer bys with zero anxiety and supreme confidence! I was blown away how in 3 days I was able to unlearn 15 years of negative speaking habits and install incredible public speaking ones by a simple shift in mindset and deep breathing techniques!

And it wasn't short lived either, I walked away from that course speaking confidently and fluently for 2 years. But I had a gripe and that was that the cornerstone of the training is to accept that you will always stutter and you should deliberately introduce blocks into to your speech from time to time to prevent anxiety from building up. So here I was speaking confidently and easily yet at the same time affirming I have a stutter and deliberately doing a controlled stutter mid sentence (it doesn't actually sound that bad just stopping on the first sound, breathing out, breathing in and then saying the full word). Slowly over the two years my old tricks I used to get words out started to reappear (altered breathing pattern, blinking, tapping the foot etc) and before I knew it I was literally back to where I started because the old stutter programs in my mind were still there and hadn't been overwritten.

I have done plenty of study on neuroplasticity and rewiring of our default brain patterns through positive self talk/visualisation so as a voice coach I am intrigued to know if you have ever seen anyone overcome a stutter caused by anxiety/lack of confidence by using these techniques?
