hey sis! Today's question is: what word (or words) would you use to describe God?


For me, in this season, I would describe God as consistent. The way He has shown up consistently in my walk with HIm and been SO unmoving has moved me to tears at times. We serve such a good, good Father!! ❤️

I love you Jesus! Without you I would never know the fulness of God’s love. My soul is troubled but I know you will continue to lift me up. Jesus you are my strength whenever I am weak. As a single mother I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I’m desperately struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. Jesus is my only salvation. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need to get by, and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully, God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. Please pray for me and my children.

God is definitely patient with us. Because sometimes we can be hard headed and not wanting to listen to God, yet he still doesn’t get made because he knows our nature

God completely changed me. He saved me from myself and the outside influences I had with old friends. He completely removed me from the very dangerous path I was on. He’s a healer and is showing me in many ways that we need him. Jesus is the way. Turn and repent from your sins. He’s forgiving and accepts you as you are. Amen❤️

I always view the Lord as merciful because he continuously gives us chances to turn to him. He is there to pick us up when we fall.

God is so patient. ❤So many times I miss the mark and He is still there to walk with me along the way. In this time of my life I’m learning to trust who God has made me to be as enough. I’m testing out my abilities and one major one is my decision making. Being able to trust my decisions and if those choices don’t work out he’s there to teach me and comfort me in it as I keep moving and learning.

For me currently I would say Healer. Not only has he healed my undecided heart and helped me realize my true path in life that fulfills me but also after praying for my grandmother health she felt better. Thank you God and 2023 will be my year!

I have definitely been hopping from video to video! 😭 I’ve been so absorbed in sermons, & I’m realizing that I haven’t allowed enough quiet time for God to speak to me. I’ve been escaping the silence & it’s become a distraction in my relationship with Christ. Thank you for this!!! I know God wants to me to have a seat & be quiet so I can listen to him & know his voice better.

I’ve been in such better spirit since I started calling out to god every morning and telling him everything that I’m thankful for in life he’s loving patient compassionate understanding and a friend that’s always there for u ❤

One word I would use to describe God is: parent. This year I had a lot ways I needed him: emotionally, mentally, financially and He took care of me every time. He is the ultimate parent to me!

1) Unforeseen challenges- Help me to navigate this challenge and keep my mind from telling me not to or can't Deut 8:5
2) Sermon hopping- How should this be applied to my life so that I can grow 2 Peter 1:5-11
3) Season of waiting- Stay encouraged in the gift giver not just the gift Deut 31:8
4) Feelings of Distance from Him- Feelings are gauges not guides James 4:7-8



Thank you, Sister, God is my light when I am in a dark mood or disappointed. Feels as good as standing outside with your face in the sun. His light and love have carried me all of my 28 years. Now it's time to walk.

You can do this and no one can stop you but you. Tie those shoes tight or put those crocks in sports mode. This is why He died for us.! God Bless you all who read this!
