I'm glad that Japan thinks about my Dad when rating games.

‘I don’t like how the 18 sticks out’ my brother in Christ it’s meant to do that so that little Timmy doesn’t get nightmares over COD zombies

'Its too colorful'
*thats the whole point*

The 18 being dark red is symbolism to most likely scare younger people away, as red is used as a scary color

As for me, i love PEGI rating, 'cuz it's very colorful

With the Australia one, two things:
1. It also is used in New Zealand.
2. With the controversy of mature games being too mature for kids, you NEED the rating to pop out otherwise those Karens wouldn't likely notice the rating. So functionality wise, it's probably one of the better ones, but aesthetically, it's one of the worst outside of box arts that incorporate the rating into the design, in which case, the rating would lose functionality points but gain visual points.

I think the Pegi system makes the most sense.
If you're not above that age, you shouldn't play it.

the 18 pegi sign is so nostalgic to me because of gta5 on the 360 (i was a bad kid ong)

I really like the Australian one just for the fact that it has info on *why* it’s rated like that. An M for language is very different to an M for sexual content, and an R for drug use is very different to an R for violence.

“It’s too colourful.”

That is the point. I’m Australian and you can just tell by the colour what rating it is, it’s great.

Germany doesn't like those big bulky things either. Luckily some put removable stickers on it, although I have only ever seen it on DVDs and Blurays with FSK stickers.

With Australia, few things.
1. Literally they need to pop out otherwise some people wont see them properly.
2. X18+ is only used for movies that have way too inappropiate stuff. (also if you say R18+ and X18+ is the same please use Wikipedia or some other source because theyre not)
3. Literally you gave USK more then ACB.

ESRB according to parents:
EC = Early Childhood
E = Everyone
E10+ = Everyone gets a 10+
T = Totally for kids
M = My childern can play
AO = Amazing for Our Childern

As an Aussie, yeah I hate the ACB. They are so big that they sometimes cut out critical parts of the box, like Sonic Colours Ultimate and Pikmin 2 for Wii

Pegi is 10/10 because even a toddler can define what age it's supposed to be on

the 18 being red is actually to show that it is adults only

As an Australian I’m a fan of our rating system it’s noticeable and helpful to see the age rating or maybe I’m just biased

Here in Brazil, the rating on games is very small, and has only the year recommendation and a color for each year. It's look like a fusion between Japan's and Europe rating logos

as an aussie (*not biased*) the ACB system is actually good. it makes sure that you notice it, and say GTAV has an MA15+ rating on it as it has, you know. same thing goes for TV shows/movies aswell.

As a german, the usk is *meant* to stand out, so for example little henry doesnt get slender the arrival and get traumatized because his parents didnt see the rating.

It is meant to be colorful, so you can't miss it. Same with pegi.
