Otis Elevonic 401 Service Elevators (Bank #2) at The Hyatt Regency I-Drive South Tower, Orlando, FL

Filmed in September of 2021 with Genessee Trains & Elevators.

Just as I predicted knowing the layout of the hotel building, there is indeed another set of totally original (not for much longer unfortunately) Otis Elevonic 401 Service Elevators here! Since the bank of Service Elevators I found previously was located right beside Passenger Elevator Bank #1, I figured there almost had to be another right beside Bank #2 but until my recent meetup with Alex, I've had no luck when attempting to access them for numerous reasons. Well, now I've FINALLY managed to film these, and honestly, I like these a bit more than the other bank of Original Service Elevators here. These elevators seem to run a bit smoother and slightly faster (In actuality they probably aren't) than the other Service Elevators here, and the elevator we rode has a VERY RARE ORANGE Series 1 lantern!!! Not something you see everyday! Despite all of the good here, the COP is pretty worn out, but that isn't something that can't be fixed with new brailles for the buttons.
All in all, these are pretty awesome elevators being Original Otis Elevonic 401s with Older Series 1 fixtures and it really sucks that these are now the last of their kind in Orlando, a city that once had over 10 buildings with these and they're the service elevators...And they're probably going to be on the chopping block come next year... :( At least I rode these when I did and I'm going to try to get the parts from these when they do get modded.... Especially since Elevonic 401s are some of my favorite elevators ever and they were a big part of my childhood and it breaks my heart seeing them continue to get rarer and rarer each year....

Of course, as always, I hope you enjoy the video of what are most likely sadly the last remaining Original Otis Elevonic 401 Elevators with Older Series 1 fixtures in Central Florida.

Installed in 1986.

To be Modernized in 2022. (by KONE with New Motors, New Controllers, likely new cabs and probably with Innovation Bruiser fixtures.)

These look kinda like the service elevators at 200 Public Square except the shape. They’re also custom series 1s that go up 46 floors

The Roblox GFPH (Grand Four Points Hotel) Grand tower used to be otis series 1 but It got modded by long the main ones got fully modded and the chop 76 elevator also used to be a otis series 1 but It got a slap on mod by long the buttons and indicator were replaced but the floor passing chime is still original, The buttons were replaced by GAL on all Grand Tower elevators and epco Inchline lanterns and keep the series 1 lanterns and then they got modded again by long with monitor with new lanterns and the chop 76 elevators was still original with the series 1 lanterns but still had GAL fixtures

Did Andrew get any elevator parts from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis?

Looks like the car panels have received a lot of wear throughout the years.

I cannot believe you two went to the 5th floor instead of ☆L and C level. That was terrible. You two are uninvited to the 5th floor.
