Amazing Otis Elevonic 401 Traction Elevators @ 2 Eaton Harbor Centre - Hampton, VA

(3-12-19) These are the very famous Otis elevators at 2 Eaton Harbor Centre. We take a ride on all three of the glass elevators, and a ride on the service car. Two of the four elevators are modernized, and I am glad I got to see these before they are all modded.

6:42 Fun Fact when an Otis has a Restricted Floor light, it probably means that there's code with the floor buttons. I've seen a video on youtube where someone went to a locked floor with a code. And I experienced the same thing with an Otis Series 1. You press the floor you want, restricted floor lights up and then you would enter the code on the COP. Once you do, the restricted floor you selected will light up and the elevator will take you there.

That original elevator is beautiful. The only thing that I will approve with the new mod is the green floor number, I wish they would've done more elevators with green fixtures and numbers

I can’t believe at 0:10 there isn’t any protective glass around the shaft of the elevator. That would never be allowed in the UK. What if children were to play near there?
